Around the time Shark Boy and I finished our Number 1 robot we herd of Pi Wars.
It seemed a great way to have a bit of focus to our robotics efforts and have fun together building our robot sharing ideas and plans and have a chance to meet and compete against other enthusiasts.
So we applied for entry into the competition, unfortunately our application was not successful 😕.
Mike Horne from Pi Wars was really kind about the whole thing, he mentioned there were over 160 applications and I guess that's the way the cookie crumbles so to speak. Mike did give us the opportunity to be part of Pi Wars in the show and tell section and also to be added to the reserve list in case other teams withdraw.
Shark Boy and I are really keen to take part in Pi Wars and will go ahead with the Show and Tell. We are planning to build a robot and also some heating automation I have been worked on. Maybe we will have a chance to take part of the main completion, but either way we are going to enjoy our robotics adventure.
